PhD Application Progress

As I'm now in the progress of graduate school application, I wanna share something about this here. Please forgive me if I spit too much useless words because I'm writing it as a diary.

So basically I plan to apply to mostly PhD positions in the US, UK, and Europe. The reason why I don't wanna stay in China is that I believe I need to see more views around the world and I should not be limited. Moreover, I do wanna do something amazing in one of the most competitive teams in the world.

My focus is computational cosmology, mostly AI/data-driven ones. I now have a list of about 15 graduate schools and I have applied to some of them. But till now I haven't get some positive information about my applications. No interviews, no offers. I think this situation will be better after December 15 because it is the deadline for most of the US schools.
